Life is a journey, and every driver knows that being on the wrong road—no matter how fast you’re going—won't get you to your destination. Here is the biblical roadmap, often called the "Romans Road," to help you find your way home.
Every one of us has gone off-course. In the Bible, this is called sin.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
On this road, there is a toll we cannot pay on our own. The consequence of going our own way is separation from God.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
Even while we were on the wrong path, God built a bridge for us. He sent His Son to pay our toll.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
To get to the right destination, you have to change your direction (repent) and trust the One leading the way. It’s as simple as calling out for directions.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)
Salvation isn't the end of the trip—it’s the beginning of a new life "on the move" for Him.
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:1)
